Fork In The Road

Epilogue - What Would Aesop Say?

It has been suggested that my "story" should have an epilogue, with maybe a lesson and/or some advice that might actually encourage people to shell out some cash for this piece of work.

So, what might that lesson be? I decided to make the narrative follow along the path of "forks in the road", as, at certain points in my life, I came upon choices. Be careful where you choose to go, or what path you take. Each road leads you to decisions that can affect your whole life from that point on.

Does that count as a lesson? I don't know if it compares to something like the Fable of The Tortoise and the Hare, or the one about The Fox and the Grapes, (one of my favorites, check it out sometimes), but it's the best I've got.

I hope that, in some small way, traveling down the roads of my life with me has been time well spent for you. The subtitle to this is "What Ifs and Fond Memories". It has also been suggested to me, "...what about those fond memories?". I don't know if I should presume that anybody, after having "plowed" through this story, would want to deal with another. I doubt it, but who knows if I have gone down my final fork yet? And maybe I will get to those fond memories someday...
